“ Sydney place @ circular has become a crowd favourite and lunch hotspot in 2023. Kingswood coffee is a newly opened coffee shop along underwood street, currently partially hidden under a construction site. The first time I walked past, the interiors grabbed my attention looking sleek from the exterior and modern vintage on the inside. The shop is long and narrow with a flight of stairs leading to a mysterious door (very curious). Almost the entire counter bench is occupied by the coffee machines, with a small glass display for small pastries, and shelving stocked with Kingswood coffee beans. The price for coffee: regular $4.5 and large $5, similar prices to the newly opened shops nearby. I also like how they use their own coffee cups with their logo on it, there’s a lot of coffee shops that use plain white cups or stamped with their logo. The coffee taste pretty good on my first sip, but as you start to sip more you begin to notice the coffee doesn’t have a strong roast, it’s light and milky. I am not sure whether they used single or double shot in my large latte, but it tasted like a single. Kingswood coffee is still relatively new in the area and trying to build reputation. Due to its location on the quieter side, not many people know Kingswood exists nor do people walk through underwood. I’ll give them another go, hopefully the coffee experience will be better. Review update 2025: Kingswood has become my favourite coffee place in the circular quay over Associate espresso bar! ”
